Amoxisol/Amoxicillin is the Generic Name for Trimox and Amoxil. Amoxicillin is used in the treatment of ear, nose, throat, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, lower respiratory tract, and gonorrhea infections. Amoxicillin is similar to ampicillin in the way that it favorably reacts against susceptible organisms. The medication peaks within two hours of swallowing the tablet.
